In local news, Marin Academy, the high school lacrosse team I played for and coached and won its NCS Championship Game off of a last second goal in the last game ever for the head coach. Why: Between “a lack of restraint” by Israeli soldiers after thousands of Palestinians were injured and dozens killed during the protests against the opening of a new American embassy in Jerusalem, and the murder of 10 students and teachers in yet another school shooting, this week was not good.
