It is unfathomable that anyone could hold a meeting with shooting survivors to have an open dialogue and have to remind themselves to actually listen. It is even more insane that his single identifiable idea is to arm teachers to prevent shootings, since apparently the presence of multiple armed deputies clearly wasn’t enough. On to the news.

Why: Because the Winter Olympics are over. Although the US did not meet its expectations, there were still many historic finishes, including curling, cross country skiing, luge, and one of the most exciting hockey games I have watched.
