Greetings Webtaculators! I hope you all managed to survive the weekend of the Holy Trinity (Passover, 4/20, and Easter, respectively) in tact. If you did that while at the second weekend of Coachella, more power to you. On to the news.
STORY OF THE WEEK (3 min. read)
What: Hearts With Sri Lanka
Why: Because more than 200 people are dead following multi-target attacks in the country.
ECONOMIC THING OF THE WEEK (5 min. read)
What: How Business Success Defines A City
Why: Because the reality of being able to buy a house in a market dominated by software companies is largely only possible for people who work for those companies. (p.s. friends who work in tech and want to buy me a house in SF when your companies go public, that would be greatly appreciated.) HT Kelly.

MUSIC THING OF THE WEEK (5 min. read)
What: Beychella
Why: Because although Coachella is still going strong this year, Beyonce basically made any other concert unnecessary with the release of Homecoming on Netflix and as an album.
ARCHITECTURE THING OF THE WEEK (4 min. read)
What: The Value Of A Building
Why: Because the cultural and religious significance of one of France’s most prominent landmarks caused everyone who has ever been to France to post Instagram pictures of their last visit, and cause French billionaires to pledge almost a billion dollars for repairs. The second is not quite a good look when there are protests occurring in a country due to the inequality, both real and perceived, of French monetary policies. At least, thanks to video games, you can still experience a very detailed version of the cathedral through playing Assassin’s Creed: Unity, which is being given away for free.
VIDEO GAME THING OF THE WEEK (4 min. read)
What: Next Gen
Why: Because as Xbox and Google are looking to the cloud, the next PlayStation is looking to put more tech, that isn’t even widely available to PCs, inside a box.

What: True Detective Pikachu; How To Not Get Caught Being High; Earth
Why: Because Internet.
THING YOU SHOULD GET BRIAN OF THE WEEK
