Why: Because this man’s stupendous tumble to nothing over the last month has been horrifyingly unbelievable. Also, Trump and team are traveling around the country still denying reality.

ECONOMIC THING OF THE WEEK (long read)
What: The Comeback That Wasn’t
Why: Because the economy has definitely not recovered since COVID first appeared, and will get worse as COVID continues to ravage our country. Furthermore, I have a feeling, mainly due to the ridiculous number of CYBER MONDAY EXTENDED! emails I received from multiple companies over last week, many companies will not hit their expected sale numbers during the most important shopping week of the year.

What: Star Witness
Why: Because before he got COVID, Giuliani was somehow allowed to bring forth unsworn witnesses before Michigan lawmakers, claiming… something. It is clear that Mellissa Carone is not one of America’s best and brightest.

What: No More Stories
Why: Because every app and its mother now has a stories section – basically, a sub set of posts that keep posts available for viewing for a set amount of time. This is a very dumb trend. Please stop.

What: Sunday Night Football Presents Thanksgiving On Wednesday Afternoon!
Why: Because the NFL is entirely broken.

TELEVISION THING OF THE WEEK (3 min. read)
What: Elliot Page Comes Out As Transgendered
Why: Because Elliot (you probably know him from Juno and Inception) is the highest profile trans actor currently working in the business. Miraculously, most of the press reporting on his coming out using appropriate pronouns. At least some things got a little better this year…

What: HBO TO THE MAX
Why: Because Warner Bros. will be releasing all of its 2021 films on HBO’s new streaming service at the same time as they show up in theaters. This a huge change for an industry that has fought against home viewership since home videos first became a thing.

What: The Folklore Experience
Why: Because Taylor Swift’s Folklore performance on Disney+ is a brilliant take on her new album.

What: The Walking Taco
Why: Because it has been just over 8 years since I first and last had one of these Midwestern monstrosities. Highly recommend.

What: Lists!
Why: Because it’s almost the end of the year, so people are starting to gather the things that they enjoyed.

What: Flight Of The Fenyx
Why: Because as people are anxiously waiting for the inevitable release of Cyberpunk 2077, they can spend the last few days playing the Zelda-like Immortals Fynix Rising, or be an ace fighter pilot in Project Wingman.
